Małgorzata Kwiecińska-Więcek
I am a licensed psychotherapist and psychologist, a certified coach, social skills trainer, and the founder of the Cicha Łąka Center.
I support adults who, among other things:
- struggle with stress, tension, or anxiety
- suffer from depression, sadness, shame, or guilt
- experience difficulties in interpersonal relationships – whether with a partner, in the family, at work, or elsewhere
- are facing challenging life situations or trying to adapt to changes
- have personality disorder-related issues
- want to work on their relationship as a couple (in couples therapy)
Deep therapeutic work has truly won my heart and is now the main focus of my professional practice. However, I began my path as a psychologist in the field of personal development, providing individual coaching and leading group workshops on psychosocial skills – particularly interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, and relationship building.
I work using an integrative orientation, which sees the roots of problems in currently active psychological mechanisms shaped by past experiences. I believe this understanding best supports meaningful, lasting change in the present. In my practice, I draw primarily from cognitive-behavioral methods, addressing thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the connections between them, as well as from humanistic approaches, using symbolic and imagery-based techniques and creating a space full of empathetic care. My work is regularly supervised.
I graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw, specializing in psychotherapy and personal development support, and subsequently completed a four-year postgraduate psychotherapy training at the Professional School of Psychotherapy at SWPS and IPZ.
I gained clinical experience during internships at the Academic Psychotherapy Center and the Psychotherapy and Health Promotion Center “Ogród” (NZOZ Institute of Health Psychology PTP), while developing my private practice.
I place great importance on continuous professional development, which is why I actively participate in additional courses and training programs (including NLP Practitioner and Master, a one-year Multi-Level Coaching Study, as well as conferences and workshops on psychotherapy).
Although I use a variety of tools, mindfulness, openness, empathy, and belief in the positive nature of people remain most important to me. In my practice, I continuosly learn how to be a mirror in which one can look at oneself with a compassionate eye.
Privately, I find fulfillment as the mother of two special boys.
